Welcome to Greenway Park and Room 401!

 

My name is Mrs. Pereira. Mrs. Massey is my wonderful, full-time assistant.  We are excited to teach your child in Pre-K this school year.

I began my teaching career in Hsin Chu, Taiwan. I taught Kindergarten for two and a half years there. I enjoyed my overseas experience very much. Next, I moved to Charlotte, NC. I taught Fourth Grade for one year, Pre-K for three years, and Kindergarten for ten years, all at Greenway Park. Now, I have taught Pre- K again, beginning my fourth year in Room 401.

I have my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education  and  Masters degrees in Reading Education and School Administration. I also have my National Boards certification in Early Childhood Education. I am in the process of renewing my National Boards this school year. This is cerification is needed to be renewed every ten years.

​

I have two children, ages four and seven years old. They both attend Greenway Park too! My husband and I are about to celebrate our 13th anniversary in December. We are both originally from Upstate New York. Go New York Yankees!
